Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded

1 package (16 oz) frozen tater tots

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)

4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.

Stir in the ranch seasoning mix, salt, and pepper until well mixed.

Add the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl, mixing until evenly combined.

Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the bottom of the greased baking dish.

Layer the frozen tater tots over the chicken mixture, arranging them evenly in a single layer on top.

Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes | Servings: 6-8

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the casserole directly from the baking dish, and for extra flair, top each serving with additional crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of fresh parsley or more green onions.
