Ingredients

3 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced

1 cup Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional, for balancing acidity)

Instructions

Start by washing your cucumbers thoroughly. Slice them thinly using a knife or a mandoline for even thickness and place in a large mixing bowl.

In a separate medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, chopped dill, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Season the yogurt mixture with salt and pepper to taste. If using, add the sugar to balance out the flavors, mixing well to incorporate.

Add the diced red onion to the cucumber slices in the large bowl.

Pour the yogurt dressing over the cucumbers and onions. Gently toss everything together until the cucumbers and onions are well coated with the dressing.

Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.

Before serving, give the salad a gentle toss again and taste for any additional seasoning adjustments.
