Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to place the dipped Oreos on later.
Using a fork, dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is completely coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it on the prepared baking sheet.
Repeat the dipping process for all Oreos, then place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
While the Oreos are cooling, melt the white chocolate chips in the same way as the dark chocolate. Once melted, transfer to a piping bag or a plastic bag with a small hole cut in the corner.
After the dark chocolate has set, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the Oreos in a zig-zag pattern. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie for a sweet-salty contrast.
Place the cookies back in the refrigerator for an additional 10 minutes to set the white chocolate.
Once the chocolate is fully set, serve your delicious chocolate-dipped Oreos on a platter or in a decorative box as a gift!
