Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 package of puff pastry sheets (2 sheets)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Optional: hot sauce for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 4 equal squares. Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry.

Place a generous spoonful of the cheesy chicken mixture in the center of each puff pastry square.

Fold each square over to create a triangle and press the edges with a fork to seal. Make a few small slits on top of each pastry to allow steam to escape during baking.

Brush each pastry with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden color when baked.

Place the filled pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 8

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the cheesy chicken-puffs warm on a platter with a side of your favorite hot sauce for drizzling. You can garnish with extra parsley for a pop of color!
