Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

3 tablespoons white miso paste

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium)

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons sesame seeds (toasted)

2 green onions, finely sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Steamed vegetables (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil until smooth.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the miso marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.

Bake the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Reserve the leftover marinade. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Glaze the Salmon: While the salmon is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Sesame Seeds: After baking, drizzle the thickened glaze over the salmon fillets and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

Serve: Garnish with sliced green onions and serve the salmon with warm cooked rice or quinoa. Add steamed vegetables on the side for a complete meal.

                  Prep Time: 10 min | Total Time: 50 min | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the salmon on a platter, drizzled with extra glaze, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions for a colorful and appetizing look.
