Ingredients

6 large croissants, cut into large pieces

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 large eggs

2 cups milk

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Arrange half of the croissant pieces evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Layer the diced ham on top, followed by half of each cheese (cheddar and mozzarella).

Pour half of the egg mixture over the layered ingredients, ensuring even coverage.

Add the remaining croissant pieces on top and repeat the layering process with the remaining ham, cheese, and egg mixture.

Gently press down on the casserole to ensure the croissants soak in the custard mixture.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before slicing into squares to serve.
