Ingredients

8 slices of thick-cut sourdough bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well blended.

Spread the garlic butter mixture generously onto one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered side of the bread.

Place the slices on a baking sheet, garlic-butter side up. Drizzle olive oil over each slice for added richness.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

If you like your garlic bread extra crispy, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute before serving.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Arrange the slices on a wooden cutting board or a serving platter, and garnish with extra parsley for a pop of color. Serve warm, with a side of marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
