Instructions
Rinse the long-grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice and broth. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the rice simmer for about 15-18 minutes.
While the rice is cooking, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper into the garlic butter mixture. Cook for an additional minute.
Once the rice is finished, fluff it with a fork and pour in the garlic butter mixture. Gently fold to combine.
Season the rice with salt to taste, and add lemon zest if desired.
Incorporate freshly chopped parsley, stirring until everything is well mixed.
Notes
Serve garnished with parsley and paprika for color.
