Ingredients

8 oz wide rice noodles

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

2 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Noodles: Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, toss the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Cook the Steak: In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Lower the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat the noodles in the butter. Add the cooked steak, chili flakes, and sesame oil. Mix everything thoroughly until heated through.

Finish and Serve: Toss in the chopped green onions and stir-fry everything for another minute. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

Garnish: Transfer the noodles to serving plates and garnish with fresh cilantro and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
