Ingredients

8 oz. fresh egg noodles (or ramen)

1 lb. flank steak, thinly sliced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 cup snow peas, trimmed

1 red bell pepper, sliced thin

3 green onions, chopped (white and green parts separated)

Salt and pepper to taste

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fresh egg noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes). Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Steak: In a bowl, season the thinly sliced flank steak with salt and pepper. This allows for better flavors to penetrate the meat.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once hot, add the steak in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until nicely browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a plate.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, followed by soy sauce, sesame oil, snow peas, red bell pepper, and white parts of green onions. Toss everything together gently over low heat for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.

Add Steak: Return the seared steak to the skillet, mixing it in with the noodles and veggies. Cook for an additional minute to incorporate all flavors.

Finish and Garnish: Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste, and add crushed red pepper flakes if you desire some heat. Serve warm, garnished with the green parts of chopped green onions and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
