0.25cupsoy sauce (or coconut aminos for a gluten-free option)
1tablespoonapple cider vinegar
1teaspoonsesame oil
to tastesesame seeds for garnish (optional)
to tastefresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, beaten egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Arrange the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and brown on the outside.
While the meatballs are baking, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, cooking for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the honey garlic glaze over the meatballs and gently toss to coat them evenly.
Arrange the glazed meatballs on a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the top and garnish with sesame seeds and fresh herbs if desired.
