Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the meat is browned and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Garlic and Seasoning: Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Mix in Cheese: Once the beef mixture has cooled, fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.

Prepare Croissants: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Taking one triangle at a time, place a generous spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture at the wide end.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll the croissant tightly towards the point, ensuring the filling is enclosed. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over each croissant to give it a golden shine. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired for added crunch.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and puffed up.

Cool and Serve: Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm, straight from the oven.
