Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat them dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a large cast-iron skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the steaks to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Once done, transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest while you prepare the sauce.

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.

Pour in the heavy cream while stirring, then add soy sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, maple syrup, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine, letting the mixture simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. If you desire more sweetness, add a drizzle more of maple syrup.

Plate the rested ribeye steaks and drizzle generously with the haunted bourbon garlic cream sauce.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a touch of color and freshness.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 2

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the steak on warm plates, with a side of roasted vegetables or creamy mashed potatoes. Drizzle extra sauce over the steak for an enticing look, and sprinkle with additional parsley for a pop of color.
