Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup olive oil

Zest of 2 lemons

Juice of 1 lemon

2 teaspoons black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to avoid sticking.

In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and smoked paprika. Whisk until well blended.

Add the chicken wings to the bowl, and toss them thoroughly in the lemon-pepper marinade until they are evenly coated.

Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they aren't touching for optimal crispiness.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to ensure even cooking. Cook until they are golden brown and crispy.

Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.

Serve the wings hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and additional flavor.
