Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

3/4 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon honey (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for a hint of flavor)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, work the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.

In another bowl, mix the heavy cream, honey, and vanilla extract (if using) until combined.

Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the cream mixture. Stir gently with a fork until just combined. Do not overmix; it’s okay if the dough is a bit shaggy.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently just until it comes together. Pat the dough into a rectangle about 1-inch thick.

Fold the dough over itself in thirds, like a letter, and then gently pat back out into a rectangle. Repeat this folding process two more times for added flakiness.

Use a round biscuit cutter (or a glass) to cut out biscuits, pressing straight down without twisting. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown on top.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 10 biscuits

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the biscuits warm on a decorative plate, brushed with melted butter and accompanied by a small bowl of honey or jam for a delightful touch.
