1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter)

1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

1/2 cup vanilla protein powder

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

1/4 cup M&M's or colorful chocolate candies

1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and protein powder. Stir well to ensure there are no clumps.

    In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth and combined.

      Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir until fully combined, using your hands if necessary to make sure everything is incorporated.

        Fold in the mini chocolate chips, M&M's, and chopped nuts until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

          Once mixed, use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. If the mixture is too sticky, add a bit more oats or protein powder.

            Place the protein balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Once all the mixture is rolled into balls, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
