Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix layer. You don’t need to mix it in; just ensure the cake mix is well-moistened.
If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts and shredded coconut on top for added texture and flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
