Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (beaten for egg wash)

Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle roughly 12x8 inches. Cut the dough into 12 equal squares.

Place about 2-3 slices of pepperoni and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese in the center of each pizza dough square.

Sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) over the cheese.

Carefully fold the corners of each dough square towards the center to seal the filling inside, pinching the edges to ensure they are tight.

Place the filled pizza bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is puffed and golden brown.

While the bombs are baking, warm the marinara sauce in a small pot over low heat for dipping.

Once the pizza bombs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
