Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon instant yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup warm water (110°F)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well to ensure an even distribution of the dry ingredients.

Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a sticky dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it doubles in size.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Sprinkle the garlic powder and dried oregano evenly over the dough. Lay the pepperoni slices evenly across the surface, followed by a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the edges as you go.

Cut the log into 1-2 inch pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Allow the rolls to rest for about 10-15 minutes, then bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
