Ingredients

1 lb ground beef or steak, thinly sliced

1 onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups cooked pasta (penne or elbow recommended)

1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the diced onion, green bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms for about 5 minutes until softened.

Cook the Meat: Add the ground beef or sliced steak to the skillet, stirring in the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until the meat is well browned.

Combine with Pasta: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and the meat mixture. Pour in the beef broth and half of the provolone cheese, stirring to combine evenly.

Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.

Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle the remaining provolone and cheddar cheese over the top.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are slightly golden.

Cool and Serve: Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
