8 hot dogs

8 strips of bacon

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 package crescent roll dough (8 rolls)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Chopped chives or green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until they are about halfway cooked (still flexible but starting to crisp). Remove from the heat and let them drain on paper towels.

      Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each triangle for flavor.

        On each triangle of dough, sprinkle a little garlic powder and smoked paprika for extra flavor.

          Place one hot dog at the wide end of each crescent triangle and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese directly on top.

            Wrap the bacon strip around the hot dog first, then wrap the crescent dough around everything, starting from the wide end. Pinch the edges to seal the dough securely.

              Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced out evenly.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

                  Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

                    Garnish with chopped chives or green onions if using, for a pop of color and flavor.
