Ingredients

8 oz large shell pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, diced (any color)

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Use a spatula to break up the meat as it cooks.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper into the skillet. Cook until the onion becomes translucent and the pepper softens, about 4-5 minutes.

Add Tomatoes & Broth: Mix in the drained diced tomatoes and pour in the beef broth. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, chili flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Allow to simmer for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Fold the cooked shell pasta into the beef mixture until well combined. Allow everything to cook together for another 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Cheese it Up: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the beef and pasta mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes, just until the cheese melts.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4
