1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 cups frozen tater tots

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

      Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is golden and cooked through.

        Once the chicken is cooked, pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

          Remove the skillet from heat and mix in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and ½ cup of Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.

            In a large casserole dish, spread the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly across the bottom.

              Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the chicken mixture, arranging them in a single layer.

                Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the tater tots.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

                    Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
