1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 lb breakfast sausage, crumbled and cooked

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies (Rotel), drained

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions, typically around 375°F (190°C).

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked breakfast sausage, softened cream cheese, drained diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until fully combined.

      Add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.

        On a clean surface, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the package directions.

          Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.

            Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent triangle up over the filling, pinching the edges to secure the filling inside.

              Place the filled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown.

                  Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.
