Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1-2 red chilies, finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon lemon zest

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and lemon zest. Toss to coat evenly and set aside for about 10 minutes to marinate.

Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Add the minced garlic and chopped red chilies to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, or until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.

Increase the heat to high and add the marinated shrimp to the skillet. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.

Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked and opaque.

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, allowing the heat of the shrimp to wilt the herbs slightly.

Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze of juice.

                Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 20 mins | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the spicy garlic shrimp on a large plate or platter and garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges around the dish for a colorful and fresh look. Consider serving it over a bed of fluffy rice or alongside crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce.
