Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)

2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 lemon, juiced

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp and Steak: In a large bowl, combine shrimp and sirloin cubes. Sprinkle half of the Cajun seasoning over the meat, along with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, the minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Toss to coat and let marinate for at least 20 minutes.

Prepare the Vegetables: In a separate bowl, toss the sliced bell peppers and onion with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, the remaining Cajun seasoning, and a pinch of salt. This will infuse the veggies with flavor.

Cook the Steak: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak pieces and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the marinated shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.

Sauté the Vegetables: Add the prepared bell peppers, onions, and corn to the skillet. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

Combine Everything: Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the shrimp and vegetables. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice, give everything a gentle toss to combine, and warm through for 1-2 minutes.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve right from the skillet or transfer to a large serving platter.

                Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the feast in a large cast iron skillet or on a wooden cutting board for a rustic touch. Accompany with lemon wedges and fresh bread for a complete meal experience. Enjoy!
