Ingredients

2 cups water

2 tablespoons loose-leaf Earl Grey tea (or 2 tea bags)

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

2 tablespoons vanilla syrup

1 tablespoon dried rose petals (food grade)

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

A sprinkling of ground cardamom for garnish

Fresh rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil.

Remove the saucepan from heat, add the loose-leaf tea (or tea bags) and dried rose petals to the water, and let steep for about 5 minutes.

Strain the tea mixture into a separate bowl or pitcher, discarding the tea leaves and rose petals.

In a separate saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam, but do not boil.

Whisk in the vanilla syrup and honey if using, ensuring it is well combined.

Froth the milk using a frother or by vigorously whisking until it gets nice and frothy.

Pour the prepared rose tea into a large mug, filling it about halfway.

Slowly pour the frothed milk over the tea until the mug is nearly full.

Garnish with a sprinkling of ground cardamom and fresh rose petals if desired.

Serve warm and enjoy the delicate flavor of rose and vanilla!
