Ingredients

12 slider buns

1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent and caramelized, about 10-12 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

In a small saucepan, heat the beef broth along with garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until hot but not boiling.

Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.

Layer the thinly sliced roast beef evenly over the bottom halves of the slider buns.

Spoon some of the sautéed onions on top of the roast beef, followed by a generous sprinkle of provolone cheese.

Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.

Using a basting brush, lightly brush the tops of the buns with any remaining melted butter from the skillet and sprinkle a touch of garlic powder on top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the buns are lightly golden brown.

Serve the sliders warm with a side of the hot beef broth for dipping. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
